Just a quickie, and an easy musical title at that.
I wasn’t excited when J told me that a topless carwash had opened to controversy on my commuting route (or very close to it). But locals in Burbage have got excited about it. Personally I can’t see anything wrong here, it might even be a bit of fun.
I spotted this hand-drawn sign on the way to work, and decided I’d stop on the way home and capture it in detail. I’m glad I did! It’s not perfectly proportioned but is cheerful enough to get the message across to a punter who’s in a car. Maybe the whole business runs along those lines. Here’s the website – you decide.
Why wasn’t I excited? Well, see my car in the background? I chose road-film-grey because I see car washing as a luxury. A £3 machine wash – luxury. A £30 topless wash – unimaginable luxury! Besides, I’m more a leg man.
Update – I see that someone has removed the sign in the picture. I wonder what happened to it?
Questions may indeed be asked if I found out you’d spent £30 on a topless car wash! J x
